The gifts are starting to come in and I needed some thank you cards...so here are a few I've been making with my new Stampin' Up set called Endless Wishes.
INK: SU Island Indigo and Going Gray
* Frost White (by Color Box)
DIE: Nesties Small Classic Circles
TREE STAMPS: SU Pennant Parade
The picture really doesn't do it justice as the final touch of the glitter paper tree trunks and the gems in the snowflake centers really make this card pop! I cased this card from the Pinterest pin below:

I like the simplicity of the card below using the same set (and the matching envelope, too):

I had some Christmas paper left over that I almost threw out because of the pattern...but it worked out well for my cased version!
INK COLORS (BY STAMPIN' UP):
Crumb Cake
Real Red
Soft Suede
INSIDE VIEW
Stamp set for sentiment
puchased at JOANN'S:
Hero Arts CL351
(Brand new set...had it for months and
just now used it for the first time!
WHY was I saving it so long?
Oh! yeah...because I have so
much stamping stuff already that
I forgot I bought it months ago!)
...and lastly...I found this card:

I did a fusion of my top two cards and came up with this version:
Oh! My goodness! I just had an epiphany when I realized that I could line my envelopes with medium weight designer scrapbook paper (DSP) that coordinates with the card AND that are patterns I wouldn't necessarily use on card fronts! Also, if I ever give these blank cards as gifts, a separate piece of card stock placed over the bumps/gems wouldn't be required to send these cared in the mail! Twice the benefit gained from one piece of envelope liner DSP and happy dance is now in progress ^__^ Here's an example:
...and this very busy DSP that probably would have been tossed right into the circular file serves as a liner that compliments my gray and blue card:
I'm taking the rest of December off from blogging and will return on Friday, January 2nd with another Pin It Friday Favs post. Happiest of holidays to you and all good things to come in 2015!
