PIN IT FRIDAY FAVS:
Grad Cards and the
Very Best of Pinterest Pins

I needed a couple of grad cards and made this design for a terrific bunch of graduates:

with this inside saying:

The inside was cased from this pin:

Money Card Gift Holder - free printable: http://spoonful.com/crafts/easy-graduation-ideas-gifting-money#carousel-id=photo-carousel=2:
Original Pin Here

....and the pin for my inspiration on the front of the card:

Stampin' Up! - Holly Jolly Christmas, Large Number Framelits - ZoKris:

The number dies are from Stampin' Up's Number of Years set
that has a matching stamp set. I like how the glitter
paper adds so much pizzazz to this card!

....and here are a few more grad cards:

PIN IT FRIDAY FAVS:
Cards from My MUST MAKE Board

I keep a MUST MAKE board on Pinterest that are the pins of projects that I want to make now rather than later. These projects are the ones that caught my eye recently:

First up, a gift card holder and greeting card all in one:

I found this on stampinup.com

...and a card using SU's Banner Blast stamp set
and coordinating banner punch:

GORGEOUS! Try this!

I have this PUNCH POTPOURRI SU set and have never used it!

Card Box tutorial - holds 10 standard sized cards and envelopes - 11" square sheet makes one.

...and lastly, I do love a simple black and white card:
luv this black and white card with the nine patch done in circles, each one stamped with a different image...

Now, I just need to carve out some time to make some of these lovely pins! Happy New Year!

CLASS OF 2013

I used clip art from this grad's university
website. Dark and light blue are his
school's colors. I added an extra piece
of white card stock to the inside left
of the card, made a slit first to put
the check inside and adhered it
to the inside of the card front.
(For a female version use a border punch
on the white shirt to make it look
like a blouse. See my version HERE.)

JUNE PROJECTS: Graduation, Father's Day, Birthdays, 4th of July

Here are some card club projects I recently designed: A pop up sailboat card, a folded card made with one sheet of 12x12" paper that fits into a business size envelope and a tag using beads and wire!

Inside a Grad Card

Here's the inside view of my pop up sailboat card and one of two birthday/graduation/and Father's Day sayings that will be included with my two June paper craft projects. I thought the Mark Twain quote was perfect for this sailboat card and provides some inspiration no matter what age your driver's license states!...Stay tuned for the photos of the entire set of June projects which I'll post on June 1st.... and here's another quick way to finish the inside of your graduation cards.

The saying is from Hero Arts and simply says: May your dreams take flight. The kite tail uses gold cording (purchase it in the jewelry section of your craft store). The cording is held in place by small glue dots under the kite tail bows. View the front of this graduation card HERE.

GRAD CARD

I'm going to a wedding this month, and the Bride just graduated from med school, too --- such big events all in a short amount of time! This is the grad card I made for her and this card is the perfect compliment to my GRAD CAP BOX tutorial that is shown HEREI got this wonderful idea from Jackie Topa's blog where she shows a female and a male version for a graduation card. To take a look at Jackie's original grad cards,  click HERE! So clever and so fun to make --- Thank you, Jackie! (There are no directions on her site for the grad cards. Start by taking a 3" square and add a decorative corner punch in any corner. Then score at 45 degrees next to the decorative corner, fold the corner over and trim about 1" away from the fold at a parallel line to the fold.)

Supplies:
Stampin' Up open scallop corner punch for blouse, gold star brad, gold cording, mini star gems, Recollections adhesive pearls, and the wording was done on the computer
