My son had his 30th birthday recently and I wanted to make a special card for him. I saw this card on Pinterst and decided my Star Wars fan would love one like it!

When I saw this card, it made me instantly happy! I tried a version with lines drawn using a Micro pen, but the lines turned out poorly and I nearly gave up on trying a version of this card. Last week, this card came up again...and I knew I had to give it one more try! This time, I used my computer to make the lines and at last...I was happy with this version:

Lastly, here's a pin I saw for a lovely Thanksgiving card:

The added banner was the result of a happy little mistake/opportunity. The font I originally used on the base layer was too bold, so I just printed up a second more delicate version, cut it into a banner and covered the original sentiment with the new improved sentiment. I think it enhanced the card with the raised banner. I love it when near lemons turn into lemonade during the card making process!
