I subscribe to mychicnscratch.com and this is the project that was posted on Angie's site today. It was a quick project that helped me give the best gift on the planet according to my kids! This is her original terrific version:

Here's a punch art card we made last year at one of my Christmas card parties with family and friends....the inside says: May your holidays sparkle with joy! The feet are made by cutting a punched heart right down the middle....and below you will find one of my favorite posts from my previous blog: http://happylittlecrafter.blogspot.com
Twas the night before Christmas, I’m glued to the tree.
I’m wondering what Santa will bring just for me.
Could it be cardstock or ink pads or lace?
Or stamp sets, I said, with a smile on my face.
And that’s when I heard him...Hi Santa, I said.
To which he replied, You should be in your bed!
Oh, dear! I said, I’ve just been caught...
But I was excited to see what you brought.
Well...let’s take a look in this room where you work.
Then he shook his head quickly, and left with a jerk.
And I heard him exclaim, as he put it in gear,
You’ve got enough crap, I’ll see you next year!
Happy holidays and here's wishing you a plethora of creativity in 2013!
Here's my 2012 Christmas card. I made the reindeer with my Cricut using the Winter Woodland cartridge and size set at 1 1/2 and 2. The saying is SU's Teeny Tiny Wishes and the trees and birds are from SU's retired Branch Out set. The Nestie Labels 4 set was used to make the two openings.
